30 Days of Beauty - Among Other Things (The Blog)

30 Days of Beauty

Like any beauty buff, my physical approach to looking and feeling my best starts with skincare.

And – again – like any beauty buff, I could kill an entire afternoon (and full month’s paycheck) in Sephora.

This obviously isn’t ideal (for me and my wallet), and I’m constantly seeking out ways to streamline my lifestyle. At the moment, this is what my morning routine looks like – primer, under-eye concealer, tinted moisturizer, touché éclat, HD microfinish powder. And on days when I’m rockin’ a classy little vodka hangover, a huge pair of Chanel sunglasses.

As shown below (with zero make-up and utterly un-photoshopped) the biggest skin-related issues that I battle on the reg are under-eye bags, enlarged pores and uneven skintone.

By nature of being a beauty hoarder, I’ve read about Clarins’ Double Serum and have been eager to try it, so when the brand approached me (via Glam) to take their #30DaysofBeautiful Challenge, my fine lines and I obliged. (I’m getting’  old!)

Over the next month, I’ll be using the Serum as it’s specified – both morning and night. Accordingly, it combines 20 pure plant extracts and two age-defying formulas that firm skin, reduce wrinkles, even skin tone and minimize pores. And 90% of women said they found it more effective than their current serum (and it’s proven for all skin types, ages and ethnicities). Sign me up!

I’m hoping that its prolonged use will ultimately help me to simply my makeup routine. At the end of the month-long challenge, I’ll share my overall experience, as well as spotlight the before-and-after results of the product for you.

Lastly, Clarins is giving away a Double Serum everyday for the next month. To enter, just snap a photo that exemplifies beauty (here’s an example of mine) and share it to Instagram with the #30DaysofBeautiful and #ContestSweeps hashtags. Full sweepstake details here.
