A fresh way to mix prints | @coralsncognacs

Mixed Motif

After last week’s event at Trina Turk, one thing is for certain…

… I need nothing but bold, bright patters and prints in my closet this spring.

We’ve talked a bit about this season’s new collection — mainly, how it celebrates the exuberant return of energetic color into our post-winter wardrobes.

You can click back to that post to read more; today, I’ll let the pictures do the talking — for the most part.

(Plus, it’s 1 a.m. and I am fucking exhausted le tired. And, okay, I’ve had some wine… Next week I’ll have a few more life-related updates to share.)

The key pieces are simple silhouettes, which Trina delivers a la one-piece jumpsuits, rompers and maxi dresses.

I’m all about an effortlessly cool ensemble — aka, clothes that take any and all guesswork out of getting dressed.

Both of the pieces I’m wearing today are from Trina’s current collection — you know I love a good mixed print. And this maxi skirt is pretty much perfect, no?

I’ve put pretty much put every single piece from the eye-catching collection on my wishlist — and in addition to my striped top and patterned skirt, I’ve since purchased this dress.
