An off-the-shoulder aesthetic makes for easy, effortless spring style. Here’s the pieces you need this season!
Happy Monday, my friends. How was the weekend?
… I know, I know. Never long enough, huh?
Back on the grind this week, so “easy” and “effortless” have been at the forefront of my style vocabulary — with an emphasis on anything that cross the day-to-night divide, like this top.
More specifically: I’m having a moment with an off-the-shoulder aesthetic (further evidenced in last Monday’s post), so researching and writing today’s piece presented an occupational hazard of sorts.
You can’t go wrong with a blue-and-white stripe for spring/summer, no? (Although it’s a laughable 40 degrees in Chicago this morning… Ugh!) This one’s a recent Zara find, but I also scoured the web for some similar striped styles for you, which you can see below.
… See? Occupational hazard.
My favorites are this one ($59) and this one ($39) and this one ($59), but you can browse them all (by clicking) below. (And stripes aside, I had to throw this blue gingham number in there for good measure.)
I’ll be back around the blog more frequently (than I have been) this week to share some style content that I shot in Miami (so excited for you to see it), as well as a full recap from that that Frye Festival fiasco.
Here’s to getting a productive jump-start this week. Godspeed, you guys!
